Mark A. Yaffe, M.D., fellowship-trained hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgeon at Barrington Orthopedic Specialists, authored two articles that were featured in national peer-reviewed medical publications. The February 2014 edition of American Association for Hand Surgery published Dr. Yaffe’s article discussing the short-term and long-term implications of CMC arthroplasty, and another article discussing traumatic agricultural injuries to the hand and upper extremity was published in the October 2014 edition of the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a prestigious monthly publication offering clinical information and research for orthopedic surgeons.
